New Hampshire Senior Photographer
Relaxed, fully guided senior portraits planned around your personality, interests and style.

Senior Portraits That Feel Like You
Senior portraits should reflect who you are now—not turn you into a version of someone else. Your session will be planned around your personality, clothing, interests and the type of setting where you feel most comfortable.
You do not need to know how to pose or what to do with your hands. I provide direction throughout the session while keeping the experience relaxed enough for natural expressions and movement.
Sessions can take place outdoors, in the Salem studio or use a combination of settings. We can also incorporate sports, music, dance, a car, a pet or another activity that is genuinely important to you.

A relaxed, guided senior photography experience
You Will Not Be Left Guessing
Most seniors begin the session feeling a little uncertain in front of the camera. I guide posture, hands, movement and expression throughout the session, so you are never expected to arrive knowing how to pose.
We Plan the Session Together
Before the session, we will discuss clothing, locations, activities and the overall style you want. I will help narrow down the options so the session feels coordinated without looking overly styled.
The Session Moves Naturally
We work through a combination of guided portraits and natural movement rather than repeating the same pose in every location. This creates variety while keeping the photographs consistent and recognizable as you.
Plan a Session Around Your Interests
Senior sessions generally last between one and two hours. The final timeframe depends on the locations, travel, number of outfits and whether activities or sports will be included.
Outdoor Senior Portraits
Outdoor sessions are usually scheduled later in the day for softer light. Locations may include open fields, wooded areas, waterfront settings, beaches or more architectural and urban surroundings.
Studio Senior Portraits
Studio portraits offer a clean, controlled setting with professional lighting. A studio session can be used on its own or combined with a nearby outdoor location for additional variety.
Clothing Changes
Most seniors bring two to three outfits. A combination of casual, polished and personally meaningful clothing creates variety without using too much session time for changes. I provide guidance before the session so the outfits work with the selected locations.
A portable changing tent is available for outdoor sessions when a private changing location is not nearby.

The process is simple and relaxed

Step 01 — Start the Conversation
Step 01
Complete the contact form with the senior’s school, preferred timeframe and any initial ideas. I will confirm availability and answer your questions.
Step 02 — Plan Clothing and Locations
Step 02
We will schedule a planning call to discuss outfits, locations, sports, activities and the overall style the senior wants. I will help organize the options into a workable session plan.
Step 03 — Attend the Session
Step 03
The session generally lasts one to two hours. I provide posing and expression guidance throughout while creating a combination of close portraits, full-length images and natural movement.
Step 04 — Review the Proofing Gallery
Step 04
A few days after the session, we will meet over Zoom to review the proofing gallery and select the portraits you would like professionally finished.
Step 05 — Professional Retouching

Step 05
Each selected image receives natural professional retouching. The goal is a polished result that still looks like the senior, without changing facial features or removing the details that make them recognizable.
Meet the Photographer
Hi, I’m Danielle
I have worked professionally as a photographer since 2005 and hold a BA in Advertising Photography. I am also a mother of three teenagers, so I understand both sides of senior portraits—the parent who wants to document this point in their child’s life and the senior who may not be excited about standing in front of a camera.
My approach is direct, relaxed and fully guided. I want seniors to look comfortable and recognizable in their portraits, without stiff posing or editing that changes how they actually look.
FAQ
What if I feel awkward in front of the camera?
That is completely normal. You will not be left to invent poses or expressions. I provide direction throughout the session and make adjustments based on what feels natural for you.

What should I wear for my senior session?
Most seniors bring two to three outfits. I recommend a combination of casual clothing, a slightly more polished option and something connected to a sport, activity or personal interest when appropriate. I provide styling guidance before the session.

Where will my session take place?

The location is selected based on the look you want. Options can include open fields, wooded settings, waterfront locations, beaches, urban areas and the Salem studio. We can use one location or combine nearby settings when time allows.

Can sports, music or other activities be included?
Many families reserve during the spring of junior year or the summer before senior year. Earlier contact provides more flexibility with dates, locations and school yearbook deadlines. If you already have a submission deadline, include it in your inquiry.

How long does a senior session take?
Senior sessions generally last between one and two hours. The final timeframe depends on the number of outfits, locations, travel and whether sports or activities are included.

When should we reserve senior portraits?
Yes. Sports equipment, uniforms, musical instruments, dance clothing, artwork, cars, pets and other meaningful interests can be incorporated. Tell me during planning so we can select an appropriate location and schedule enough time.

Can parents attend the session?
Yes. A parent is welcome to attend, help with clothing and provide support. I will direct the photography so neither the parent nor senior has to manage the session.
